Tour Manager and Assistant Manager Position

We are looking for a passionate, energetic and responsible Tour Manager and Assistant Tour Manager team with a minimum 2 years experience in experiential marketing tour management. Our client is a nationwide cookie brand that will be bringing the bakery to the people and sampling at music festivals, food festivals and retailers across the country.

Mandatory requirements:

● Must be energetic brand advocates, detail oriented, have great time management skills and a can-do attitude.

● Must be proactive and solution-oriented thinkers who are able to troubleshoot, manage and resolve issues as they arise

● Professional and engaging representation of brand and energetic engagement of consumers at all events on tour schedule to include set up and tear down of each scheduled event.

● Full-time availability April 8th to September 15th, 2019 with ability/flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

● Minimum 2 years tour experience including brand ambassador management

● Have reliable communication tools (e.g. cell phone and laptop)

● Familiarity with Microsoft office and Google Suite

● Demonstrate excellent work ethics that embody the core values of Polaris Live!

● The team must be willing to share a hotel room.

● Must be able to complete the DOT Driver Certification Process, including but not limited to the following:

  • Have a current and valid Driver's License throughout the length of the tour

  • Pass the requirements of motor vehicle record review and pre-employment drug screen

  • Pass a driving road test

  • Possess/acquire a DOT Medical Card

● Experience driving a pickup truck with 25’ trailer (under 10,000 lbs). Class A CDL is preferred but not required.

● Must have a clean driving record.

Physical Job Demands

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to sit or stand or walk for extended periods throughout long work days.

  • Must be able to move from an upright position to a squatting position in succession.

  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.

  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:

The Tour Manager, and Assistant Tour Manager, will work as a team and share the following:

● Managing ever-changing tour logistics and operations, including driving routes, event build and setup, activation, load out and reporting.

● Asset maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness inside and out, including but not limited to signage, tents, vehicle(s), and trailer.

● Onsite activation flow, consumer activation management and acting liaison between event coordinator/contact and client.

● Maintain a clean and safe work environment and

● Inventory and premium distribution management and tracking

● Update metrics, tracking and reporting for tour premiums, inventory.

● Train and manage local in-market Brand Ambassadors including pre/post event coordination.

● Update metrics, tracking and reporting for tour premiums, inventory.

● Communicating with agency managers/partners/venue contacts regularly onsite as well as through pre / post & during event.

● Managing expenses and receipts, and adhering to policies and deadlines.

● Incident reporting and following company procedures and protocol.

● Manage travel and lodging for the team

Vehicle Operation and Management:

● Keeping the vehicle clean both inside and out, and in good working order.

● Ability to make minor repairs onsite and find solutions and solve issues real-time in the field.

● Operate vehicle(s) and trailer, which includes managing the care, maintenance, control, and safety of all property contained herein

● Safely and responsibly operate vehicles in compliance with USDOT and FMCSA including but not limited to maintaining driving logs through the use of an ELD, regulating hours, operating safely without accidents, proper load distribution, etc.

Compensation: Competitive rates for team players that meet/exceed requirements and have a history of success. This is a independent contractor position including expense reimbursement, salary, and per diem for:  food, and lodging.
